I am honored to serve as the 16th President of the Minneapolis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. It’s not a position that I thought I would take on in my last two years as a mother member but I am up for the challenge. I hope that you will stay engaged and support my leadership.

We have 15 new mothers that have embarked on their Jack and Jill journey with us to make us 51 mothers strong! They are all excited and have proven themselves willing to jump in and do the work required to make our Chapter great and serve our children. We have a long history of excellent leaders and mothers who have made a difference in the lives of others. I hope that new mothers will continue to find ways to jump in and get involved.

This programming year, we will focus on improving the health of our chapter by improving children’s group connections, mother’s engagement and identifying our future leaders.

  • • We will improve our children’s group connections by providing superior programming that excites our children about participating in Jack and Jill.
  • • We will increase our mother’s engagement by getting to know the best of one another with activities that allow us to gather in relaxed and fun settings outside of our meetings.
  • • We will identify the future leaders of our chapter by encouraging the development of all mothers and offering new opportunities to lead.

In addition, we will focus on our signature event, the 22nd annual Rites of Passage Program, and continue to support the Regional and National programming initiatives.

There’s no better time than now to jump in and contribute to the health of our chapter! It will not be easy but together we can accomplish great things.

Finally, a sincere thank you to every member of the executive board, I appreciate the gift of your time and talents. It is the work that each of you contribute that will make our Chapter a success!

Yours in Service,

Minneapolis President
